Installing DJGPP

Okay. When you have downloaded all the files you are ready to install it. You have to put in your Autoexec.bat file this kind of text:

SET DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV
And theres should be this kind of line:
PATH C:\DOS;C:\BAT;C:\UTIL
It can be different and sometimes there isn't any! But don't worry. Theres a command to see your PATH. Just write path at dos/command prompt and it prints path. Example mine is
PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\DJGPP\BIN
When you typed these right it should work. Just type run autoexec.bat and everything should be working. Remember! You are doing this all by your own risk! This doesn't mean that it will automatically mess your machine. Even mine is running ;-). Go back to programming with C
